Gothia Towers is a meeting and experience venue for people from all over the world. A four-star hotel with 1200 tastefully decorated rooms and magnificent views of the city, as well as several popular restaurants and bars catering to all tastes. Here, there are over 40,000 square meters of event space for parties, events, shows, conferences, and congresses – all under one roof. Gothia Towers is part of the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre.

We are now looking for more wonderful employees who want to work with us during the summer and autumn, including head waiters, bar staff, and servers for our lobby restaurants Corner, West Coast, and Twentyfourseven.

At Corner, the best of two worlds meet – the familiar and the surprising. Here, comfort food is served with influences from street food and timeless Swedish classics, prepared to be delicious, simple, and affordable. We serve à la carte in a relaxed environment with the feel of a modern neighborhood bistro right in the event corridor, complete with a fantastic outdoor seating area.

In the middle of the lobby is Twentyfourseven, our lovely café and bar where both big and small feel at home. An after-work, a coffee, or dinner - everything is available here.

Our food and wine bar West Coast is right next to Twentyfourseven. Here is a relaxed bistro, just what hotel guests and Gothenburgers need after a long day. Sit in the lounge and enjoy a glass of wine with some cheese and charcuterie, or savor a classic steak with fries and béarnaise sauce.

About the Role

Your main focus is the GUEST. You love to go the extra mile and are not afraid to have fun with your guests. The most important thing for you is that your guests feel good and are pampered with attentive service. You are a team player, which means you support your colleagues at their stations when needed and take the initiative to keep the service flowing. You combine service and sales in a passionate and playful way.

We offer an exciting workplace with wonderful colleagues where you can develop your knowledge of food and beverages together with us. There are more job openings, both permanent positions and fixed-term (seasonal/general temporary) 50-100% within the Visita HRFS agreement area. Working hours vary over days, evenings, and weekends, starting by agreement.

Who Are You?

To succeed in this role, we see that you have at least 3 years of work experience as a head waiter, server, and/or bartender with good cash handling skills. You have a high school education, speak and write Swedish fluently, and have very good English skills, especially in speaking. We are looking for someone who is flexible, open-minded, attentive to what is happening around you, good at building relationships, and enjoys working as part of a team. As a person, you are cheerful, positive, and social while also being organized, independent, and responsible for your tasks.
